I would have put no stars or negative stars if I could. If you have a personal heavy shipment, I would strongly advise using ANYONE but Armour. They are by far the most useless and unreliable service I've ever experienced. It's the second time I've had to use Armour, and the second time I've experienced issues. On the first occasion in Dec, they initially said 'the weather was to severe'. So I proceeded to call them and explained 'I'm looking out my window, and it's not snowing or raining, it's just overcast?' Then the story changes, explaining the driver couldn't get on my properties road!! Yet every other truck and vehicle had no issues doing so? Regardless, I eventually had to arrange for a family friend to collect the shipment the following day, so I had the leave my containers with personal goods in exposed in minus 18 temperatures overnight (thankfully no damage occurred to my goods). Then I had to arrange for a family friend and his buddies to collect my two boxes in my absence, manually lift them into his pick up, and then for him drop the shipment to the depot in Atholville!! So in my opinion, there should not have been any collection charge associated, as technically, no not collection was actually made. It got delivered to their Atholville depot by a family friend in his GMC pick up.

Regardless, on the most recent occasion the single box was due to be collected on June 15th before 5pm (as shown in one of the attached pictures). My Freight company had emailed advising that if no one had came to collect by 15:00 to call them and let them know. At 14:57 i called them, they then called back around 5-10 minutes later explaining Armour could not collect it now (15th). I complained, he said he had spoke with their Moncton office and a lady from there would call me shortly. A lovely lady from my freight company then called me, she had spoken with Armour and said they had promised her to collect at 09:00am or just after 09:00am the following day (16th). So I decided I had better arrive early, just incase. Imagine my surprise when we arrived at 08:30 and there was a notice on the door saying they were there at 08:20. I called Armour, they explained I missed my slot and therefore couldn't now collect my shipment on the 16th, and that they had waited from 08:30 until 09:00?? Firstly, it was arranged and promised that the collection was at 09:00 or slightly later, so they disregard the arranged time of 09:00. But then secondly, proceeded to outright lie and pretend they waited from 08:30 until 09:00!! I'm sure I was talking the guy on the phone at 08:45 so not sure what time he thought it was. at the end of the day over both times I probably wasted around 18-24 hrs waiting for collections, given these were personal items from my late Father, the lack of professionalism displayed by Armour was appalling. Especially considering they have just offered a $20 refund. Unbelievable!! If your a business they may be a professional company, but from a personal and domestic experience, they are by far the worst company I have ever come across.
